Our Work on the Parents Association

 
We, as a committee of parents of Gaelscoil Moshíológ, organise various events, both for fundraising and just for fun! We organise events to raise much needed funds for Gaelscoil Moshíológ. We also organise social events, which is great for both the children and the parents. All the events, both fundraising and social, are an opportunity to relax and chat while the little ones play, outside of school hours. They are also a great way for parents and children to get to know more people.

Some of the events we hold are:

- Friendship Disco
- Cake Sale
- Forest Walk
- Picnic in Gorey Park
- Table Quiz
- Ice-Cream Truck
- Second Hand Uniform Sale
- Tea & Coffee reception at school events such as Communion/Confirmation, Christmas Concert and more...

Art Exhibition

We held an Art Exhibition for the first time in January 2018. We had a local guest Artist, Amanda Doran. All the children in the school submitted their art work to be displayed at the exhibition. It was a very successful event so we plan to hold an annual Art Exhibition.

All our events are greatly supported by the parents of the school and the children really love them. We welcome parents to help us at our events and are always open to new ideas for fundraising events and socials.
